Petrobras wins 13 blocks in onshore Potiguar basin

Brazil's federal energy company Petrobras won 13 blocks in the onshore Potiguar basin during the 10th oil and gas licensing round in Rio de Janeiro.
Hydrocarbons regulator ANP sold 14 of the 35 blocks it offered in the mature basin, raising reais 19.7 mm ($ 8.3 mm).

Petrobras alone presented the highest bid for blocks POT-T-515, POT-T-560, POT-T-600, POT-T-602, POT-T-609 and POT-T-610, ANP said at the auction.
The federal company also won blocks POT-T-564, POT-T-699, POT-T-563, POT-T-608 and POT-T-743 in a 50:50 partnership with Portugal's Petrogal. Petrobras will operate the first two and Petrogal the remaining three.

Petrobras and Cayman Islands' Partex in a 50:50 partnership won blocks POT-T-556 and POT-T-601. Partex will be the operator.
A consortium formed by Brazil's Sipet (30 %), Companhia de Exploracao e Producao (10 %), Orteng (11 %) and energy groups Codemig (24.5 %) and Cemig with 24.5 % won block POT-T-603.
