Oil used to cook French fries are being reused to create fuel. A process developed at the Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Lab has converted the cooking oil into a non-polluting bio-diesel fuel.
The new INEEL process also produces high-grade glycerol that will sell for $ 10 a gallon and offset the high cost of making the bio-diesel.
