ExxonMobil to spend more than $ 125 bn in capex over next 5 years

ExxonMobil said it intends to spend more than $ 125 bn in capital expenditures from 2008 through 2012.
CEO Rex Tillerson, speaking at the company's annual meeting with analysts at the New York Stock Exchange, said ExxonMobil will participate in the start-up of 19 new projects through 2010 that, at peak, would eventually add more than 750,000 boepd to the company's production.

"We will invest record amounts to develop new technology, bring on new upstream projects, increase our base refining capacity, and grow our chemical business," Tillerson said.
He said ExxonMobil expects to begin "multiple" LNG projects over the next three years.
