Inventure to provide analytical platform for Amoco's trading group

Amoco Corporation has selected Inventure's RANGER as an analytical platform to develop models and integrate data/analytics within their Amoco Energy Trading subsidiary.
RANGER is an integrated analytical operating environment for traders, analysts, researchers, application developers, and database managers- RANGER solves problems faced by every company operating in the financial markets; integration of multiple databases regardless of their format or physical location, rapid data access and caching, real-time and historic data integration, powerful analytics, and sophisticated visualisation tools.

Amoco Energy Trading has embarked on an implementation of RANGER for both power and natural gas traders and market analysts. Amoco's installation includes a combination of RANGER products including RANGER Visualizer, RANGER Researcher, and the RANGER Server for the sharing and managing of departmental analytics and data. RANGER Visualizer and Researcher are client solutions for financial analysis; they include data integration, charting, quote pages, histograms, tables, point and click analytics, and, in the case of RANGER Researcher, advanced tools for research Professionals,
