Shell and Russian Academy of Sciences to cooperate in new technology

The Russian Academy of Sciences and Shell International Exploration and Production have agreed to cooperate in the development of new technology to explore and develop oil and gas deposits. Academician Nikolai Laverov, the vice president of the academy, and Tim Warren, director of Shell's scientific research subdivision, officially signed the agreement in Moscow on January 27.
