Italian oil and giant ENI has spoken positively of the agreement between Russia and Ukraine for methane supplies, but has also warned that prudence is to be advised.
Russia has allegedly pledged to supply Ukraine 24.5 bn cm of gas for reserve tank supplies at a price of $ 95 per cm.

"It is good news for both Italy and Europe. However, caution is in order, especially because it is absolutely necessary for our country to create the conditions necessary to increase supply sources.”
“And this can be done by building re-gasification units, an infrastructure of national interest able to create a true liberalization", ENI representative said.
