Russia reports on oil and gas output
Russia's oil output in the first six months of the year increased 10.34 % year-on-year to hit 223.492 mm tons, the
Federal State Statistics Service said.
The largest producers in the January-June period include Yukos (about 42.379 mm tons), LUKoil (41.21 mm tons) and
Surgutneftegaz (28.862 mm ton), the statistics service reported.
Gas production in the first half of the year amounted to 320.939 bn cm, up 3.08 % year-on-year.
Gazprom, the state-controlled monopoly supplier of natural gas, produced 272.295 bn cm of gas during the period.
