Ukraine’s gas operator chief forecasts 70 bn cm transit to EU
Ukraine plans to provide gas transit to the EU this year at a volume of 70 billion cubic meters by the end of the year.
Ukraine plans to provide gas transit to the European Union this year at a volume of 70 billion cubic meters, head of the Ukrtransgaz gas transportation system operator Igor Prokopiv said Thursday.
"Today, we expect 70 billion cubic meters," Prokopiv said at a press conference.
Andriy Kobolev, CEO of Ukraine's national energy company Naftogaz, said earlier Kiev appealed to Brussels after claiming that Russia lowered gas pressure along the transit pipeline.
