Notwithstanding the objections of the IMF, the Russian government has decided to introduce target figures for fuel oil and diesel fuel supplies to the domestic market. According to the government information department, the Russian Energy Ministry will fix targets as percentages of total output.
Between September 1 and October 31, the companies will be able to export petroleum products only after they meet domestic supply target figures. According to an Energy Ministry representative, beginning in September, every company will have to supply the same percentage to the domestic market.
