Russia's Medvedev signs bill transferring gas pipeline tax to regions
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has signed a bill into law transferring revenues from the tax on movable property
of natural gas giant Gazprom's gas pipeline system to regional governments.
Previously, the tax on this property was transferred to the government of Moscow, where Gazprom is registered. The
revenue from the real estate tax collected on the pipeline system is currently transferred to regional governments.
