Integra unit completes first rig for Gazprom's Bovanenkovskoe field

The company Uralmash-VNIIBT, a subsidiary of gas company Integra, has completed the construction of a drilling rig for Gazprom’s Bovanenkovskoe field in the Yamal Peninsula.
A total of 11 rigs will be delivered to the Bovanenkovskoe as part of the contract.

The Bovanenkovskoe field is top priority for Gazprom.
As previously reported, Gazprom board member Aleksandr Medvedev in autumn 2006 said the Russian gas major the next 25 years plans to invest about $ 40 bn in the field, which by year 2015 also is to produce an annual 150 bn cm.

According to plans, the field will be in production from the end of year 2011.
An annual total of 115 bn cm of gas will be produced, a volume which later will be increased.
