Vietnam-Russia oil venture Vietsovpetro said its crude output would be stable at between 6.0 mm and 6.1 mm tpy as production at new wells makes up for falling output from old wells.
The company was exploring new wells in the Bach Ho and Rong oilfields off the Vietnamese coast and First Deputy Director Alexander V. Pavlov told, he expected them to compensate for lost production from old wells in those fields.

In August the company said in a report it planned to produce 6.31 mm tons (126,719 bpd) of crude oil this year, down from previous years.
