Vietnam's PVN produces 4.36 mm tons of oil in the first quarter
The yearly production of crude oil will reach 16 mm tons in 2009, up by 1 mm tons against last year, according to PVN
(the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group).
In the first quarter of 2009, the group produced 4.36 mm tons of crude oil or 108 % of the set target of the first
quarter and up by 17 % year-on-year.
Under the plan, the group is to produce 4.03 mm tons.
To maintain projections, PVN will gear up production and at the same time continue to search for other oil fields.
