China's COOEC awards design contract to Finnish firm

China's Offshore Oil Engineering company has awarded Finnish outfit Deltamarin the basic design and engineering
contract for their semi-submersible self-propelled heavy lift vessel.
The vessel to be designed will be of DP2 capability, semi-submersible flat top transport vessel, which will serve
mainly for offshore oil and gas exploration and development, Deltamarin said.
