The discussion around the future global demand, supply and reserve-situation is intensifying.
Are we actually running out of oil (and gas) or not? And if so when?
Will the reserves collapse or will new finds take care of the future?
Will production keep up with demand? And if not, what then?

Pentagrammic Questions

At the end of the two-day workshop we decided to make five project working groups that would work upon: What is the most important questions that arises, having heard the speeches, having done the exercises, having been shown the way, from your colour-perception group?

It was then asked to do a small theatre to make clear why this is an important question.

Some very bright and moving theatres appeared, as you can see in the pictures-series.

Do note the difference in focus, clearly influenced by the colour.

Do also note the similarities in them, all project towards a more peaceful future.

Even although everything might seem now quite far away, it was an extraordinary happening!

White

  • Why do we think that the post peak world would be worse than the pre-peak?
  • How do we convince others that there is a good life possible after oil?

Red

  • Why doesn't America do more to inform?
  • How do we achieve global awareness about Peak Oil?
  • How do we instigate global initiative towards co-operation on this problem?
  • How do we, as individuals benefit from our awareness?
  • How do we achieve transparent oil data?
  • How do we keep developing countries from making the same mistakes by creating an emerging economy based on cheap oil?

Blue

  • Principle: Income vs. Capital ( having only one source of energy (the sun) we need to live from our interest and not from our capital.)
  • How to trigger this transition
  • Price hickup
  • Be prepared!!!
  • Happiness

Yellow

  • How can we provide global access to electricity and clean water without further damaging the environment?

Green

  • Premises
    • economic dislocation can't be avoided
    • the hydrocrabon age has ultimately proved disfunctional
    • the post hydrocarbon age can be far brighter
  • How can we best lessen the pain of the coming economic crisis in a way that increases the prospects for the post hydrocarbon age to be far brighter?
